Acacia: Our premium Raw Acacia Honey is perfection on the palate. This single-varietal gem is made from the delicate nectar of Robinia pseudoacacia, known as Acacia in Europe. The trees are plentiful from Northern Italy to the Ukraine, and the honey that the bees make from its blossoms is a staple in this region.
Acacia (pronounced uh-KAY-shuh) is highly sought after in the United States. The natural sugar profile of Acacia Honey resists crystallization. It is known for its beautiful light golden color and incredible clarity and is the lightest tasting honey in the world. One spoonful of this fine honey, and you will be an Acacia lover forever!
Hot: Introducing a honey that brings the heat. Our sweet wildflower honey is infused with heat from scotch bonnet and habanero peppers for the perfect mix of sweet and spicy. Drizzle over chicken or pizza, stir into a margarita, or use it to top off a bowl of vanilla ice-cream. No matter how you decide to use our hot honey, it belongs on your table at all times.
Lavender: Many beekeepers believe lavender to be among the honeybee's favorite flowering species because of the relatively large amount of nectar it produces and the hardy nature of the plant.
Savannah Bee Company Lavender Honey is made from the nectar of Lavandula stoechas luisieri, which grows wild on the border between Spain and Portugal and blankets the mountainsides in purple flowers during the month of May.
Lavender honey is a sought after varietal popular around the world. Most companies sell a French varietal of lavender honey, while others only sell lavender-infused honey. Ours is neither. And that is what makes ours an incredible find. We hope you enjoy it.
Orange Blossom: Orange Blossom Honey is floral, fruity, and incredibly aromatic. It can add dimension to many foods, drinks, and sauces, and is particularly good for baking.
This fragrant, light amber honey comes from sunny Central Florida, an area of the US famous for its abundance of orange groves. Beekeepers from around the nation bring their hives here in March and April so the hardworking honeybees can pollinate the blossoming trees, which allows us the pleasure of having oranges to eat.
The bees also collect the fragrant nectar from the orange blossoms and turn it into a delicious, candy-sweet honey. As soon as the trees lose their blossoms, these skilled beekeepers extract the Orange Blossom Honey, making sure to keep it separate from the other spring honey.
Orange Blossom Honey is our earliest harvest of the season and a sure sign that summer is on the way. It's like sunshine in a jar!
Sunflower: Sweet as a summer day and finishing with a creamy note, our bright yellow Savannah Bee Co. Sunflower Honey delivers the delight of the world’s happiest flowers with every spoonful. We proudly source this golden treasure from the beekeepers of Ukraine and Romania, the world’s top producers of sunflower honey.
Each giant sunflower head is actually made of up hundreds of smaller blooms, each with its own supply of nectar and pollen.
Tupelo: Tupelo Honey is known as the "Queen of Honey" for its color, texture, and taste that is unmatched. When bees harvest nectar solely from the White Tupelo blossoms, the resulting raw honey is this Southern Gold that will never crystallize. This monofloral honey has a greenish cast and a full-bodied taste with buttery bubblegum undertones. Savannah Bee Company Tupelo Honey is expertly sourced by lifelong beekeeper and honey connoisseur, Ted Dennard, and is clinically tested to ensure the highest quality. When you purchase Savannah Bee Company Tupelo Honey, you purchase the best of the honey market.
Bee Cause: As if this wildflower honey wasn’t sweet enough, every purchase of Bee Cause Honey helps fund the installation of bee observation hives in schools across America and beyond. Let’s teach the next generation to love and protect our precious pollinators!
Because of your generous purchase, Savannah Bee Company donates $3 from every 12-oz. jar and $1 from every 3-oz. jar directly to the Bee Cause Project.
Robust flavor that varies with the season.
Savannah: The famous magnolias, spiderwort and other flowers of our home city provide a feast throughout the seasons for the bees. This delightful honey features floral notes and a rich, clean finish—pair it with fresh peaches for a true Georgia treat!
Bees must visit over two million flowers to produce one pound of honey.
Floral with a rich, clean finish
Charleston: Bold and smoky-sweet as a sultry Southern night, this honey is befitting of the Holy City’s complex loveliness. The bees visit the Lowcountry’s dazzling array of wildflowers to bring out its distinctive flavor and South Carolina charm.
Wildflower honey can contain pollen from an infinite combination of different plants —it all depends on what the bees see blooming at the time.
Rich and robust. Bold and smokey sweet
